Week 4:  The Developing Child and Trauma

This week looks at the impacts of relational trauma on the developing child and how to make sense of some challenging behaviors in relation to early traumatic experiences.  Even if your children have not experienced trauma, it is likely that at leas one or more of their friends has.  Statistically speaking there are a large percentage of parents who have also experienced trauma of one kind or another.  Understanding the impacts of trauma not only helps our children, but also may help ourselves, or help us to be well-informed community members in relation to trauma.
